Dr. Bailey's medical practice focuses on the prevention, diagnosis, and  treatment of infectious diseases. He has been a member of the medical staff at Providence Mission Hospital (Mission Viejo and Laguna Beach) and Memorial Saddleback Medical Center (Laguna Hills) for nearly 30 years, serving currently as the  Medical Director of Infection Prevention at each of these institutions as well as at Providence St. Joseph (Orange) Hospital and Memorial Orange Coast Medical Center (Fountain Valley).  In addition, he has been a member of the medical staff at Hoag Hospital Newport Beach for nearly 40 years.

Dr. Bailey's primary current focus is on assisting hospitals with control of infections and prudent use of antibiotics and providing limited consultative support for hospitalized patients.  At the present time, he is not accepting any new patients for outpatient consultation, but is available to discuss other options with referring physicians.

As of February 2023, Dr. Bailey will only be able to offer VIRTUAL follow-up visits to existing patients via a telemedicine platform.  Although there may be limited options to arrange face-to-face visits in rare circumstances, most issues that require in-person attention will be deferred to primary care physicians or other consultants with office availability.
